On Friday 9th October, we celebrated World Mental Health Day through the Young Minds charity. They support young people with their mental health and wellbeing and we know, especially at this current time, how important it is to support others with this. Children relished in the opportunity to discuss what mental health and wellbeing is and had the opportunity to take part is activities that support their mental health: yoga was carried out; self portraits were drawn with a focus on children’s self esteem; and children created posters for others on how to look after their wellbeing.
Even the roofers joined in and dressed out scaffolding up in yellow!
The children raised £131.30 today – well done St Alban’s!
