PUPIL LEADERSHIP

At St Alban’s, we recognise the importance of children taking the ownership of their own learning and being part of the decision making within school. Our Pupil Leadership Team allows our children to express their views, in a supportive manner, and play a role in making decisions that include them. The intent of our Pupil Leadership Team is to purely give children a voice, ensuring that their opinions and thoughts are heard and recognised.

Roles that children can apply for include:

Prefect
Subject Ambassador
Playground Leader
Worship Council
Librarian

The Pupil Leadership Team are involved in:

Modelling of behaviour and expectations
Conversations about teaching and learning
Discussions around educational school visits
Key parts of the school day
Whole school worships
Supporting the development and understanding of the curriculum
